37 Weeks and Counting

37 weeks tomorrow. I'd be lying if I told you I felt fine and dandy.... truth is I am struggling physically and I struggle to believe that I will feel normal and move normally in a few short weeks. I find it hard to keep being the mum that I normally am, to be woman I normally am. I can't lift, I can't stand for long and I can hardly walk across the supermarket car park let alone around the shop. I have never had these problems before in any of my pregnancies, so it's a first to feel like such a burden, to have needed help from a physio and to get help up off the floor if I find myself down there. But in everything there is something to be learned, an area to grow in..... urgh it's so humbling but clearly so good for us.

All growth is good. My lessons have been in the asking for help, the accepting of help and the realization that I can't do everything alone....funny that! So here we are in a few short weeks we will get to meet this blessing, our bonus baby. I can't wait to meet him/her, can't wait for that first glimpse, the first snuggle and that first deep eye and heart connection that says "hello my baby....I know you!" Makes everything all worth it. Everything.

Definitely no filter here!
