Moments in March Day 19 - Saturday Morning

I am pretty sure that every single town should have one of these cool parks! An area designed and made just like a real road but especially for little kiddies on bikes and scooters....complete with real road markings, roundabouts AND working traffic lights! It was really fantastic and Jesse loved it. Frankie on the other hand was more interested in watching people and running across the "road". Fortunately the only traffic were only wee kiddies on runna bikes.

A totally great morning out with the older five kids busy hanging out with their aunt and uncle. So we had the rare opportunity of pretending like we were an everyday sized family with only two children....you know the pigeon pair, boy and girl.

It's always a weird feeling visiting and driving places that you used to visit and see as a kid growing up. Seeing things that haven't changed a bit, places you used to hang out or even work at. Or seeing how much things have changed, what new buildings have popped up and roads have been made. But it's nice to see old favourites that are still there and doing the same things....things like the Danish Ice Cream cart!

Spent the rest of the day celebrating my beautiful niece who is turning 5. Then we gathered together as a family (albeit a much larger family now ) and scattered dads ashes on the beach.

A time of reflecting on him, his life and how much has changed in that time, who has been born and who has joined the family. Followed by a bbq with a family favourite of dads famous bbq-ed lamb chops while Pink Floyd was played on the background. Good family day!
